Coastal Plains Insurance, which was founded in 1912 as McCrory, Armstrong, and Waters Agency of Jacksonville, Florida, was purchased by Maynard D. Barker, Jr., CIC in 1984 and moved to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Our main goal still is: to offer choice in insurance products, customization of insurance programs, and advocacy to our clients .

Our once small office is now a highly automated center that helps us to stay abreast of the continual changes in our industry.
